Hearing Conservation Continuing Education Opportunity

Certification by the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) provides credibility for corporate and clinic programs and is an important credential for nurses, medical assistants, medical technologists, audiology assistants, and other staff who perform audiometric monitoring in the context of hearing conservation programs as well as for industrial hygienists and safety professionals who are involved in other aspects of the program. Many of your association members may already be CAOHC certified.

Beth Cooper Acoustics, an acoustical consulting and training services firm, is offering CAOHC-approved 20-hour certification and 8-hour recertification courses in your local area on an ongoing basis. The American Association of Occupational Health Nurses, Inc. has approved these courses for Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) contact hours. Nurses and other occupational medicine/health and safety professionals may earn continuing education contact hours by attending one of these courses.

The next 20-hour certification course in your area will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Savannah Airport on December 11-13, 2017, and the 8-hour recertification course will be held at the same location on December 14, 2017.
