The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, tenure track faculty position in the Department of Environmental Health and Engineering. We seek a nurse with a doctoral degree and the potential to develop and sustain a research program that is relevant to occupational health and safety. Examples of areas of interest and expertise include, but are not limited to: health effects of workplace exposures; occupational and environmental epidemiology; health of vulnerable worker populations; worker screening and surveillance; psychosocial effects of work; health promotion and education; and program design and evaluation. Excellent collaboration opportunities exist within the Department and throughout the Bloomberg School of Public Health, the School of Nursing, the School of Medicine, and other schools in the university.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a record of, or the potential for high quality teaching, professional leadership, and scholarship in a highly interdisciplinary community of public health practitioners and researchers. The successful applicant will hold a valid US registered nursing license.
Rank will be commensurate with experience. Review of applications will begin on January 1, 2017 and continue until the position is filled.
