AAOHN Quarterly Updates

Hello AAOHN Members!
Jennylynn and I want to continue our quarterly communication to all of you as YOUR AAOHN BOD REPRESENTATIVES! There continues to be so much happening within AAOHN that you can take advantage of – from educational opportunities (often free), to participating in the 2019 AAOHN National Conference by submitting a poster (call for poster abstracts will open soon and runs through September). Additionally, the call for Nominations for 2019 AAOHN Board of Directors & Election Committee Members is now Open! Nominations are being sought for the following positions: President Elect (1), Secretary (1), and Election Committee (5). Review the job descriptions at the AAOHN website (www.aaohn.org). And remember, self-nominations are highly encouraged! Also, keep up-to-date by visiting our website often, read the monthly newsletter and Journal, and follow AAOHN on FB, Twitter and LinkedIn. Consider certification if you haven’t done so already and encourage other OHNs to join AAOHN utilizing our HUG (HELP US GROW) Referral Program – top recruiters are awarded! Other opportunities to consider are Grants and Scholarships as well as Chapter Awards. Stay involved and grow in your profession and as a member of AAOHN.
