Position Description

Salary: Starting at $40/HR (depending on experience) plus benefits after 90 days.

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join an office-based lab. This full-time role focuses on providing high-quality vascular care in an outpatient setting. The position offers a Monday-Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, ensuring a great work-life balance while making a meaningful impact on patient care.

Job Responsibilities

Assist in pre-op and post-op patient care. Circulate cases and provide support during procedures. Administer conscious sedation and monitor patient response. Order and manage narcotics, ensuring proper documentation and compliance. Oversee and maintain the medication room, ensuring drugs are not expired and ordering necessary supplies. Collaborate with and help manage a team of 5-6, including another nurse, two techs, and a medical assistant. Work alongside vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists to ensure smooth procedure flow.

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of Georgia. Cath lab experience required. Knowledge of vascular procedures is a plus. Experience with conscious sedation and medication management. Strong organizational skills to oversee medication inventory and ordering. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple responsibilities effectively. ACLS/BLS certification required. ARRT or RCIS certification is a plus.
